Hey! My name is Jenni, and I’m so grateful you’re here. I have been teaching yoga, meditation and mindfulness for 3 years. After losing my job amidst the pandemic, I took a leap of faith into my 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training at Om Lounge Yoga in Pittsburgh, PA. In the moment, it felt so right but also crazy because it all happened so fast. Honestly, I couldn’t imagine what life would be like if I hadn’t just gone for it… if I hadn’t trusted my intuition into this next step of my journey.
Rewind to 2 years prior… I was caught in a cycle of burnout, health issues and unsustainable diets. I felt mentally and physically unwell. I was so tired of feeling tired all. the. time. It wasn’t until I re-connected to my movement practice in an intentional, sustainable way. I started going outdoors more for short walks, working out at the gym a few times a week and doing some stretches that I knew by heart growing up as a dancer. When I saw a gym that had group fitness classes, I upgraded and started spinning and practicing vinyasa yoga. I can vividly remember how I felt in those first few practices of mine. I love the combination of strength, cardio and flexibility, and most of all, the feeling of zen I experienced leaving a yoga class.
I kept coming back 1-2x/week craving more and more. Gradually, this led me to being more mindful of my habits, meditating for a few minutes before heading to work and practicing yoga more. I slowly started to notice improvement in my well-being. I felt GOOD. The reduction in stress with the help of my meditation practice improved the stomach issues I was having. The practice of being present even for just one minute in my morning grounded and energized my day ahead. The yoga practice I was growing helped my physical health, especially the back pain I was experiencing, but even more so, my mental health and connection to self.
After many years of small habit changes, I am now passionate about sharing my short and simple tips with busy, working moms all over the world to help them find relaxation and rejuvenation in the midst of their busy workday. Growing up as a dancer and majorette, I have always been passionate about movement. Two of my favorite genres of dance are ballet and tap, and I weave similar qualities into the yoga classes that I teach.
I teach online yoga classes in vinyasa, restorative and gentle flow. I lead guided meditations and gentle yoga flows in the Insight Timer community. I love holding space for those who also struggle to slow down and be present in their mind and body. Our group classes include breath work and mindfulness meditation paired with music to relax and recharge. Our vinyasa flow moves at a medium-speed pace while offering modifications to meet your experience level and needs. You can expect to get a little sweaty as your heart starts pumping with fun, energetic poses and flows. Our gentle flow moves a little slower and focuses more on the breath, deeper stretching and finding moments of stillness. Our restorative flow begins with some movement and gradually slows down to hold poses longer and enter a deep state of relaxation and restoration. Each class type offers you a mental and physical recharge.
You can also find me leading wellness workshops, challenges and programs. Once or twice a year, I offer Mindful Book Club and a Fall/Spring Wellness Retreat. These events hold a beautiful, safe space for us to connect, share our trials and triumphs and grow together in our unique wellness journeys.
In our classes and offerings, we practice mindfulness by bringing awareness to the present moment and how we are, in that very moment. We check in with how we are really doing. We pay attention to the areas of our bodies that need a little more relief or a little less movement. By noticing and taking care of our minds and bodies, we cultivate a deep sense of love and gratitude for who we are today. We show up as our authentic selves and practice appreciating every part of us.
We welcome new students to our online community with open arms! Our offerings are crafted to meet the experience levels and needs of every student. Each month, we have a different theme, and at the beginning of each class, I include a dharma talk to guide your mindfulness practice with thoughts, quotes and wisdom. This month’s theme is energy, and yesterday our class was centered around the 3rd chakra, one of our energy centers located at our third-eye space between our brows. Throughout our flow, we opened our intuition and surrendered our expectations of class to let our practice guide us on our mat and into our week. Our classes are light-hearted and fun, designed to feel like your favorite time of day when you step onto your mat.
“In the past, yoga was always something that I knew I “should do” but rarely made time for. The aging process has resulted in aches and pains that made me feel like I couldn’t even pursue a regular yoga practice. Joining Jenni’s yoga program was transformative! Having the accountability got me into a regular schedule for practice, which has allowed me to grow and love yoga. I find myself becoming stronger and more flexible, and I look forward to seeing Jenni on the mat every time! She has a true gift for teaching and connection, and her short dharma talks at the beginning always resonate with me.”

When I’m not teaching, you can find me walking our dog Sadie with my fiance, reading a good mystery novel on the beach, teaching toddlers at a nature preschool or volunteering with racoons. Yes, racoons! I’ve always loved being busy, and my mindfulness practice has taught me how to balance being busy and enjoying life with moments of bliss.
